  • Paper Thickness or weight determines the thickness of the paper
    On your home printer you would use 80gsm laser paper and a postcard is usually printed on a 350gsm paper.
    The lower the number the thinner the paper is and vice versa the higher the number the thicker the paper is.


  • Gloss paper has a shiny and smooth coated gloss finish.
    Matte/Silk paper is a dull coated sheet with a low gloss finish.
    Uncoated paper is easy to write on.
